Discussion Groups

The Center for Ethics and Values fosters thoughtful, informed, and nuanced exploration of pressing ethical issues by holding faculty/student discussions prior to major Center events and by helping to facilitate the creation of faculty discussion groups focusing on ethics and values.

The Center for Ethics and Values holds faculty/student discussions preceding major events focusing on ethical issues related to the event. All UMBC students are invited to join the discussions, which will be led by experts from the Philosophy Department. To receive news about these discussions, follow us on our myUMBC group page.

The Center for Ethics and Values will help facilitate the creation of faculty discussion groups focusing on ethics and values. To propose a discussion group, click on the link below and fill out the form no later than October 1 for Spring start and no later than April 1 for Fall start.
